About the Film Company of Ireland

Film Company of Ireland was established 5 years ago by me, Thady Kavanagh. Gathering all my skills learned from working on short films and music videos I decided to apply them to bring a modern style to Irish Wedding DVDs.

Wedding DVDs are often feared by most couples. However if you get the right camera person then there is nothing to be worried about. Using my experience I have developed a style on the day where you will barely notice me. I work around everything you do instead of getting you to perform in front of the camera.

Of course I use the best HD cameras and radio mics to ensure the quality of the picture and sound is the best achievable on your wedding day. However I have looked beyond just the DVD now. My packages include a mobile phone highlights video on the night of the wedding, an online clip which can be posted on Facebook and a digital photo frame with stills from the DVD.

I have also just launched the home cinema kit which means you can host a great night in with family and friends or watch it on the big screen just for yourselves.
